would retaking a few classes look bad on my transcript?

well in the first semester of my freshman year I basically aced all my midterms but gone through some really bad personal problems during finals and pretty much messed up everything and ended with c's in calc1, physics1 and chem1. I decided to retake all of them since the result wasn't necessarily because of my lack of competence but outer factors. In my second semester even though I already had to take calc2 and physics2 I also took cal1 and physics1 at the same time. (couldn't take chem1 because there wasn't any space left in my program). Now that my midterms are over and I have my results it looks like I'll get a bad letter grade for calc2 even if I ace the final. I know it's really early to decide on this as I still have my finals ahead, but I think I might retake calc2 with chem1 in summer school. Would it look bad on my transcript that I retook 4 classes in my freshman year? Do grad schools really care about freshman year grades or they mainly focus on 3rd and 4th years?

(also the reason I wanna upgrade all those classes is mainly to be able apply for a double major within my own school, not entirely for a better looking gpa)

(P.S. my school replace the old grades with the latest ones but they are still visible on my transcript even though they don't affect my gpa)

would grad schools bat an eye at a few ba+ grades in my freshman year which is what comes after aa in my uni and is equal to 3.75/4.00 (can be seen as sth like an a- I guess?) if I keep getting straight a's starting from sophomore year?

(the grading system here goes like this: aa, ba+, ba, bb+, bb, cb+, cb, cc+, cc, dc+, dc, dd+, dd, ff)

p.s. I'm a freshman electrical engineering student mainly aiming for top grad schools in the US after graduation. before you say gpa isn't everything, research matters, yes I know that and I will do everything I can on that matter. rn I'm just worried about my gpa.

please provide me with some insight I'm super stressed :')
