Yo guys, I got the acceptance mail for Mtech today , while scrolling its mentioned that hostel or university transportation is mandatory? Like tf what abt the once taking a room nearby or the once living nearby? Cant they opt out? This is the transcript from the mail

"Hostel / University Transport

It is mandatory to opt for either hostel accommodation or the University Transport and pay the Fee applicable for the option chosen.

Full Fee payment includes University Fee given above plus Hostel or Transport Fee.

Hostel Expenses : Hostel Fee covers only Room Rent. All other expenses such as mess charges, laundry etc, are payable extra. Electricity charges are extra on a shared basis, depending on the type of Hostel room opted for."
