Hi y'all, I love a good camping widget, and this popped up in my feed. Had anyone used a rockpot? Essentially it's a sealable passive heat crockpot?

My husband needs to take it easy for a few days, but he's not great at that (lol). I thought making a quick thing so he could practice tying various knots might be good. He got a book for his birthday. What type of rope(s) and length would you recommend for a bed-adjacent activity? I was thinking of

2 lengths of rope, and then a short section of 2x4 with a U bolt might work. Suggestions?

Having a few friends over, tomorrow evening and would like to highlight ramps that I'm foraging from my woods. I'm making a ramp + potato soup, which is light. What else can I make to round it the meal? I am a competent home cook, but need a written recipe before I can rif.

Have phyllo, shrimp, claytonia on hand. Also considering trying a Vietnamese spring roll take.

Would love some ideas!
