Reached episode 6 in my blind playthrough, it took me 3 years
I started reading Umineko at the start of my degree ( 07 mod ps3 sprites), and now I'll graduate soon, I definitely wanna finish it this summer. The only visual novel I've finished before is The House in Fata Morgana last year, which is only around 50 hours.. I never read Higurashi fully, but I'd like to think I know the lore. I'm still quite confused reading Umineko, but I still really love it; otherwise, it would have had 3 years' worth of dust on it sitting in my Steam library... I've been so tempted just to spoil the story for myself, but I've managed to hold back.
I'm absolutely terrible at figuring out mysteries, and sometimes I'm high while reading it, so I'm kinda smooth-brained, but I do have a theory:>! The man who called Natsuhi claiming to be her son is the baby that Kyrie miscarried 19 years ago and also goes by Kinzo's name???? I can't remember if in the debate where Battler jumps out the window its established that its possible for someone else on the island to go by the same name, though so I could be wrong... One of the parts that has creeped me out the most so far, though, is the image of Kinzo or someone going by Kinzo sleeping next to Natsuhi and possibly Raping her while she didn't know... I don't know if assuming this is completely off base, though !<
