I’m struggling with improving my thumbnails. My CTR always seems to be pretty low.

1st Thumbnail - 2.6% CTR, 11.6% Retention (2:45) 2nd Thumbnail - 1.8% CTR, 8.3% Retention (2:46) 3rd Thumbnail - 2.2% CTR, 8.2% Retention (2:59) 4th Thumbnail - 4.8% CTR, 20% Retention (2:50)

(Thumbnail 4 is kind of an outlier since the idea kind of makes up for the awful thumbnail. That one is the oldest of the 4, so I would hope my thumbnails have improved since then.)

Obviously more than just the thumbnail matter for CTR, but I was wondering if there are any glaring issues that I could work on to get 5-10% CTR on average instead of 1-2% on average.
