[CA] - FADV BGC timing
Hoping to understand expected timing for first advantage to complete what should be a very standard background check.
Submitted all my information last week on Monday. The progress bar pretty steadily climbed up. It flipped to delayed for a couple of days (i’m assuming like a court was taking a second to reply since they had to check multiple counties), but then went back to in progress and has now been stuck at “95%” since Thursday. I can see that my work number profile got pulled by them last week. Am I waiting for someone at first advantage to do QA? Is it now on the employer side for adjudication?
I’ve received no requests for clarification from FADV or the company (no reach out at all, actually), and in my customer support chat with first advantage the rep said they had all the required information and didn’t need anything from me and it was in “final stages“, but couldn’t give any information about expected timing or other status due to policy. I know my reference calls went well with the company.
Objectively, I know there aren’t any red flags and that the general rule is that silence is golden in these situations, but just anxious because I’d like to give notice at my current employer ASAP.
Any advice from folks who understand how FADV timing and statuses work would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
