I just wanted to add this in, about 3 years ago I was dealing with this problem, made me very self conscious because everyone around could hear me, and it was extremely uncomfortable. If you remember the Sprite challenge (chug a 20oz sprite and try not to burp.) my friend had me try it and as you can expect it didn't go well, started choking on the carbonation, until I finally puked extremely violently and what felt like my throat popping(like how a joint pops). After that I start being able to burp just a little. Though the last few years I've gotten a bit better at letting more gas out but I can't burp on command. Idk exactly what I did but I'm able to burp now and I don't deal with an entire room being able to hear my stomach grown in pain lol.
