I am considering a summer job at Best Buy

I just finished my freshman year of college and I am thinking about working at Best Buy for the summer. I have been on a tech kick lately, namely in audio and keyboards (unlikely to be useful), so some money and a discount would be nice.

I don't have sales experience, but I have worked at 2 other retail stores working with customers. I would like to work part time which I don't think should be an issue. My main worry is whether I would burn bridges if I took a job and left late in July. There is one store hiring seasonal, but its a 30 minute drive compared to one only 18 minutes without a seasonal position.

Would it be an issue if I left soon? I don't know a huge amount about tech, though I know a decent amount about audio (primarily headphones). I don't know much about working in sales or BestBuy.

I am looking for my first pure audiophile headphones

I am currently leaning towards the Focal Clear MG, but the cheapest pair I found was $1,000 and I want to spend between $600 - $800.

I listen to lots of folk and mixes of it (folk-rock, indie-folk, pop folk) and rock (typically alt-rock). So, the mids with acoustic and vocals are the primary consideration. However, I prefer a wide soundstage. The rock requires a powerful bass, plus I enjoy the energy it brings. I also have lost of drums (cymbals), violins, and fiddle, so I want a good treble.

I enjoy separation and layering where there isn't a wall of sound, but instruments around me. I also am looking for clarity and detail (the example I use is hearing each string as its strung) and do not want muddiness. I want to feel the thud of the bass and the crash of the symbols. Most importantly for my pure audio quality, I want to feel the music around me and not in my head.

Do I modify a keyboard or buy a custom one?

I have been trying to find a keyboard that is just right, and have narrowed it to two concepts that I can't find being sold anywhere.

The first concept is closest to the Glove80. It is concaved, has number and function rows, a wrist rest, a travel case, and is heavily customizable (I use Gallium V2 as my layout). However, it has a major drawback without any trackballs (I want two). I looked at some of the mods and I am worried that it would be a stretch to reach them. A small issue it having 6 keys, instead of 3.

The other concept is very similar to the crosses/bridges. I would prefer it to be concave like bastard keyboards, but I want the two trackballs and 6 thumb keys. This is not a huge problem due to it only being 1 unit away from home. However, while I could buy the crosses, I am hesitant to so heavily rely on layers. If I was to buy it I would need to practice layers on my laptop.

Should I buy a custom keyboard that has all that I want (easy mounting, dual trackballs, concave (if done then number and function rows), tenting, travel case, customization, 6 thumb keys, and software to change keys).
