I have a 2002 disco, about two years ago I started to disassemble the engine to swap out the head gaskets and got sidetracked with life. This week I’m finally putting it back together after replacing gaskets and lifters using one of the kits from Atlantic British. I’ve also replaced spark plugs and some fuel injectors.

My question: besides putting it back together and refilling oil and coolant is there other things I need to do? Don’t know if it’s ok to connect everything and then just try to start it up after connecting the battery.
