So I bought an alienware gaming laptop in 2016 and have used it to lightly game over the last decade. My main gaming is done on a playstation, but I've been using my laptop more and more lately. I never had issues running anything until this week when I tried to play Enshrouded. It immediately crashes and it doesn't look like my specs are up to task. As such, I'm now looking at desktop options that would cover games now in addition to future proofing a bit for the next few years. Would something like the build below be A) a solid selection of components and B) worth the listed price? Is anything below recommendations or on the other end of the spectrum, overkill?

edit: I realized there were some compatibility issues with the processor, so I had to upgrade to the 1500W with 360mm liquid-cooled CPU.
edit 2: The below PC is significantly cheaper, but a lot of articles say its processor is better for gaming than the one in the really expensive PC build above. Is the below a quality build?
