first focial seizure?
I have seizure disorder, but I think I may have just experienced my first focal seizure and it honestly scared the hell out of me.
It lasted around 3 minutes. I suddenly got this unbelievable sharp wave of pain in the back/top of my head that felt like someone was stabbing me inside the brain, down through my eye, and into my mouth/lip. My eye started spasming and forcing itself shut, and my upper lip pulled upward on its own like a muscle spasm. The pain in my eye was horrible, like a migraine directly inside my eye. I stayed fully aware the whole time.
What’s weird is that afterward I felt basically completely normal again, which is making me worried and confused. I’ve had seizures before, but never anything only involving my face and eye.
Does this sound similar to anyone else’s focal seizures, or does this sound like something else? I know nobody here can diagnose me, I’m just looking for similar experiences.
