As the title states-
Nothing has changed- I restarted my computer the other day, as I normally do.
Upon reopening a project in logic, I cannot playback for than 20 seconds, before system overload.

I’ve never had this issue until recently.

Even started a new project- with THREE midi tracks, added an audio track and boom - system overload.

Again- I’ve never had this problem before and nothing has been purchased, added, deleted, moved, etc.
my buffer settings seem to be normal, but not quite sure if that’s the problem.

I guess my question would be- as a bedroom producing hobbyist- what’s the best buffer rate, sample rate, for a noob who plays guitar over midi drums??
