Electrical Engineer Sophomore Internship (Deloitte vs TI). What's better?

I was applying to as many technical roles as possible and I managed to get a technical role at Deloitte vs a Validation engineer intern at Texas Instruments.

While I want domain knowledge at TI, I also don't want to give up the Deloitte name.

I want to be a hardware engineer in the future, particularly in microelectronics

I am an international student and my dream place to work is in the US, preferably on the West Coast.

I'm currently a BMath Data Science undergrad here, but I want to transfer to Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford or Caltech. I feel like at those schools I'd have a better time given the opportunities.

From what little is available online, it doesn't seem like my credits are going to transfer prior to admissions- but only after I get admission (assuming I do, since all those schools are incredibly hard to get into).

Anyone have experience with this before?

What makes an employer want to hire someone from Canada instead of let's say Berkeley or UCLA, where there is top tier talent available locally?
