Hello,
I’m trying to understand what Albion’s endgame is supposed to be, because this is ultimately why I quit. Maybe I’m missing something.
When I started playing, I set clear goals for myself: get a mammoth, to purchase and max out 7 islands, and build up fame across multiple weapons and armor types. Eventually, I achieved all of that. I bought a mammoth, tried using it for transporting, but ended up losing silver instead of profiting, so I sold it.
Now I’m sitting on over 700M liquid silver with fully upgraded islands, and I genuinely don’t know what to aim for next. There’s nothing meaningful left for me to buy besides cosmetics, which don’t really interest me.
I could go for 8.4 gear, but it doesn’t feel worthwhile—outside of safe zones it’s too risky, and the repair costs are extremely high for what feels like a relatively small IP gain.
In other games like OSRS, there are long-term, meaningful goals (for example, grinding for rare items or expensive gear that feels rewarding to obtain). In Albion, I’m struggling to find anything comparable that feels worth the time and effort.
So I’m wondering—what do you consider Albion’s true endgame? Is it PvP dominance, guild politics, economy control, or something else entirely? Or is the game just not designed around the kind of progression goals I’m looking for?
