I remember my grandmother bought me a stuffed animal at an art museum once, and it was part of a series of creatures. They were round, and I remember there being a pink one, an orange one, and I think a blue one. They either came with a comic about them, or there was just a comic about them. Two of them had "sewing" marks on their sides from when they were connected, which was a part of their lore. I think they were also made to be intentionally kind of ugly, and they looked strangely dog like.
