How do I move on?
Hello guys, I’m an 18-year-old male, and I’ve had a "crush" on a specific girl for quite some time now. Personally, I’ve always believed that you should only marry one person, and I’m not sure exactly when—I also started to believe that you should only date with the intention of marrying that person.
However, there is a girl who caught my eye years ago (when I was 14). Even though I hate to admit it, I have been secretly pursuing her for all this time. Here is the issue: I’ve asked God for countless signs regarding whether she is "the one" for me or not, and they all point to the same thing she isn't the person I’m going to marry.
I know I should have moved on ages ago, but truthfully, I can't. I’ve been stuck with these same feelings for four years now. I can’t even fully explain them because I’m not sure myself if it’s love or something else, but I just can’t move on. Deep down, I still hope that one day I’ll have the opportunity to at least give it a shot with her.
That is why I’m making this post. If any of you have advice, I am more than willing to hear you out. Thanks in advance!
