When I plug it into a PC using the USB cable it gets recognised as DVDCAM USB HS Interface, and claims no driver is installed. I tried installing this https://archive.org/details/hitachi-dvdcam-7-driver driver and it didn't change anything. I tried it on windows 11 and on XP, with the same result. How can i transfer the video I recorded, with constantly taking out the DVD-RAM disc out of the caddy it uses? Composite video capture seems like it will degrade quality.
