Hi y'all~ I'm a newer dabbler in classical guitar. I'm working hard on right hand technique right now, especially alternating fingers. I've been playing guitar for at least 10 years now, but only now acquired a classical and some PDFS I'm working my way through.
Anyway, reaching out to see if anyone might be able to provide context/perspective on this beginner piece's right hand fingering.
Specifically, alternating M & I is making some good sense to me...but the A is feeling random and hard to predict. Are there any hard & fast rules around this? Is this just an exercise meant to reinforce using A in fingering? To me, many of these places, M or I feel perfectly adequate—especially when some of these notes fall on the B string.
