Reaching out to seniors, others who have cleared NIMHANS MA Clinical Psych entrance previously (the new MPhil). Need help w recs, study guide and direction to work on. How’s the test like, how do we practice and what can be expected on the test day?

I am curious about the fact that on an average, there are 10 seats (or less) in majority of the RCI approved list of colleges for MA Clinical Psych (the new MPhil) and after quotas and reservation and ‘donations’ - what’s left for the general category? General is the new minority. And will someone care to share KIS KI ADMISSIN HO RAHI HAI???😭😭😭

tbh, it’s draining to prepare for almost a year during your masters, doubt your entire hardwork every time RCI drops a new announcement, sit for INNUMERABLE exams (only if you’re someone who can afford to spend 20-30k on just application forms and also willing to spend on travelling for these exams as they’re majorly offline and not centre based) with the same thousands of other kids you sat with the last time and the time before that (mind you there are THOUSANDS of students for an institute accepting 10 seats so atp they’re eliminating more than just choosing), learning the same syllabus over and over because you don’t want to lose your continuity and study streak and you sit for an exam like CUET where there is no correct option to choose from (excuse me NTA, ‘choose the closest most apt answer’ is highly subjective) and your correct answered questions are also WRONG🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

it’s demotivating and tiring at this point , genuinely. Why are there such less seats when already our country lacks clinical psychologists and then you expect the youth to take up this field.

Please tell me im not the only who is feeling this?
