Need honest advice for all-terrain scooter (South Florida trails)

Please help me purchase what is my best bet for South and Central Florida flat gravel/levy trails. I’m a photographer and just need it to get the extra distance to my targets faster than walking.

Price doesn’t matter, that said the most expensive isn’t always the most reliable. I am also decently mechanically inclined, especially with hydraulic brakes and anything that is remotely similar to a bicycle.

Thank you so much !

Hello fam. I saw an influencer with the R6 and the new 100-400 last week on Friday in Texas. They are under an NDA, and out of respect I won’t spill too many details. I did not get to touch it or use it, but I was an arms length away during the photo shoot it was being used for.

(Disclaimer: I am not trying to start a fight or make trouble. I was lucky enough to see a lens from far away that looked like the 400. F/2.8 and when I walked over to make small talk I noticed it was the new 100-400, that’s how this all started). These are my subjective observations.

Basically I’m going to split us into 3 groups here:

Group 1: Pissed off because they A1 ii just became a huge waste of money and somewhat of a disappointment (from a certain point of view). Also pissed because the 100-400 is amazing and light (very) but still very niche piece of glass. I wish Sony would have also updated the 400 and 600 also or, made a 100-500 f/4.5, or better yet 150-600 f/4.5. If you already own the 300 with a tele, there’s no reason to purchase in my opinion.

Group 2: happy, glorified, excited…for the right photographer this could be a killer combo, and purportedly (no one really knows for sure) they actually aren’t priced terribly high. The lens definitely isn’t in the 5-digit area, more like less than half of 4-digits zone.

Group 3: Don’t care at all…

Bonus nugget…. Many of us are going to have a whole bunch of Z100 batteries to get rid of because they are about to become paper weights or the equivalent of skipping stones, or maybe I can paint all of mine like little Lego men laughing at me for having 9 of them.

Cheers mates !
