Fractional Shares Rollout Schedule
I called Schwab customer service today to see if I could get added to those that have the fractional share rollout. The rep tried - contacted the department in charge - but they were unable to add the functionality for me currently.
However, the cool thing was the rep told me that ten percent of customers were given the initial rollout, another fifty percent will be added on Tuesday, May 5, and the plan is for all customers to have it by the end of May. Woohoo!
So, this is not an official press release, but what one customer service rep read from internal information while on the phone with me.
