Hey all, I finally got my 2009 back in October 2025 (after a wreck totaled my 2021 pilot) it has high mileage obvs so needs some stuff, has a couple issues but holy crap is this thing an absolute joy.

I used the AC pretty much daily well into December (I’m in the south and my kid gets carsick if the car is warm.) since it’s been warming up this spring I started using it recently and have occasionally experienced a very strong, very brief gas smell that does not seem to be related to stopping or starting. No leaks that I can find, no codes, gas cap is tight. I’m taking it in first thing tomorrow and have googled extensively but wanted to see if anyone else had firsthand experience with this particular issue. Thanks!
