CA alumnis
We often leave out alumni network when comparing different courses with CA. One thing I have noticed over the last 4 years is that the alumni network hates their juniors.
The CA Final AFM paper that we attempted in May 26 was worse than the anyone couldve ever imagined. However, ive seen a lot of qualified CAs passing it off as "just another difficult paper" and "Life is like this, deal w it".
I have friends across courses that study in IIMs, NLUs and IITs. One thing they mention a lot is how helpful their alumni network is. They help them get internships and also raise their voice when their alma mater makes some shit decisions. Ive noticed this across my articleship where peoples from IIMs will hire students from their alma mater.
Ik that he is a CCM and will defend any decision of the institute and we dont want any sympathy as well. We just want them to raise their voice as well cause institute doesnt give 2 shits about students. However, the amount of CAs brushing this paper off is alarming and disheartening. I have no idea why this deep rooted mindset of "Even we suffered, so you should too" runs in this course. I'm really glad that teachers have calling out ICAI for their BS (Eventhough it is in their self interest to do so but nvm)
