Been playing saxophone for 8 years. Playing the tenor for 4. Seems like there’s no point anymore. I’ve been horrible with my consistency in practice. Actually, I only ever practiced when my big band had a concert and it would be the night before. Been at the same level for ages. Tried to make a song for a school project where theres acoustic guitar laying down slow chords in the back and I improvise over the top. Probably the worst thing my ears have ever heard. I’m heading off to university next year and I dream to play in a uni big band and make music with other musicians. But I feel like I suck and I know it’s all because of my laziness. I don’t know what to do.
