I got my inspiration from few tutorials teaching similar flower stitches on youtube. I did not pay much attention to the fact that in majority of those tutorials mohair or similar soft, fluffy yarns were used. I decided to freehand summer top and used yarn-art jeans half cotton half acrylic yarn and 3.5mm hook. I was completely happy with the result (1-2pics) before blocking. After blocking (pic3) my precious top looked more like a fishing net. Now I know that every time before starting a project I should do a small swatch and block it to make sure that it looks good when finished. Don’t make the same mistake guys and learn from fellow miserable crocheter 😭
