For domestic students, it's very hard to get into any med school in Australia. I heard stories where top percentiles ucat and atar getting rejected. But I heard it's easier if ur an international student, because unis like their tuition fees to support the locals.

I was wondering if this is true, and whether local students discriminate against international students. Cos if I imagine I was a local student, I would feel mad that international students don't deserve it and paid their way in even if that's not necessarily true.

For context I am an international applicant applying for med and is worried abt this situation happening if i manage to get in one
