My 8-year-old Old English Bulldog, Pepe, was recently given a probable diagnosis of right-sided heart failure and will now need ongoing palliative care to keep her comfortable for the rest of her life.

I’ve had her since the day she was born, and she’s genuinely the sweetest dog. We’ve already spent around $2,000 on vet bills trying to diagnose and treat her, and I’m asking for help with her continued care.

ive added some paperwork of the testing and assessments we have been give by the vets so far to the gofundme updates as proof that this is not a scam and we are genuinely just looking to support our baby during this hard time.

im usually not the type to come to the internet for help however i have used up all resources available to help my dog. Pepe is an old english bulldog, she is 8 years old and the sweetest dog youll ever meet, she doesnt bite, she loves spending time with her family and sitting in the sun. (as im writing this she is currently laying on our porch in her favorite spot directly in the sun. She means the world to me ive had her since the day she was born and this is incredibly hard for my family and i to see her in pain. Pepe was told by multiple vets that they are sure she has right sided heart failure which is when the right ventricle is too weak to pump blood efficiently to the lungs, causing blood to back up in the veins and fluid to build up in the body, in her case her abdomen. she has been on 4 medications until i can get an official diagnosis and start her treatment.She is my best friend and anything helps even just a share. Thank you so much ive never made a go fundme so im just trying to spread the link anywhere at this point thanks!
