Club team advice, tryouts

We will be with our club next year but our kid, a keeper, was placed fairly low. I personally think because multiple keepers and we were most recent. We accepted it as not ready to move and overall hoping it will be ok. He tried out for other high caliber clubs and got 1st team offers. I know there can be bait and switch but genuinely we got really good feedback on him. Our goal in tryouts was to learn more about other clubs. I would like to see if guest playing for more experience, w current club permission, is possible, and will ask if it comes up. But is there any way we can indicate to our current club, esp if there is an opening at a higher team bc a keeper leaves, or would you keep this info re other clubs to ourselves for now?

Hi, we just signed up our kid, 11 yo, in his club under the high duress pressure tactics including payment of club fees. We get very little communication, which is frustrating, but we didn't want to jump ship until we do homework. We are ok staying in the club for now. Questions are-

1- how can we switch clubs at end of fall season if we connect with another club? I assume no fees will be refunded.

2- Any recs on how to best connect and network w other clubs? I am aware of ID clinics and can reach out for practice sessions. I don't want to break rules though.

Wish we could just play but unfortunately feel like this is what we have to do to permit our kid to continue developing.
