Just bought a brand new Pad 2, tried turning it on and got nothing.

Charged for 2hours, still wont turn on.

Charger verified is working.

Read somewhere if battery is completely drained to try and use pc port, since fast charging needs a handshake with the device.

After plugging it in, the pc makes a sound that a new device was added, but no pop ups. It then disconnects and reconnects every few seconds.

Tried chucking it back on the charger and nothing.

Not sure how to tell if it's even charging since screen stays off
