I'm looking for advice on how to renovate my existing quadplex. It's very outdated and was built originally in the 30s (I think). It is currently set up as 4 units, 2 beds /1 bath in each, with a kitchen and laundry in each unit as well.
In a perfect world, I want to convert all of these units to be true 2 bed 2 bath units. The laundry's are massive (relatively), so if there's a way you see to shrink those laundrys and have a stackable, I'm all for that.
I doubt it's ideal, but if a couple of the units could jump to a 3 bed/2 bath - that would be incredible, but not truly needed.
Pretty much open to gutting this entire building inside and outside, so feel free to make any suggestions! Maybe even building an extended front porch and having the bottom units enter in through exterior doors off the porch or something like that.
