Ive had 2 of these over the past 4 years, they both cracked in a similar way on the right side. This seems strange because this area of the mouse doesnt see a lot of action. It seems like a flaw in the build related to the drawer, the cracks line up with it in both cases. There are no internal support struts on the back half of the mouse, and the clear plastic is completely unsupported by the frame where the drawer begins.
