I think Northern England, Peak District or Yorkshire is most likely. But also, the River Dee in Northern Wales looks possible. I interpret the flowers in the grass and the long shadow as this being a spring or summer evening meaning we are facing North-East or East and the river is along the NW-SE diagonal. It could be morning but I think that is less likely. I haven't made sense of the text on the bin but if it turns out to be Welsh that could be a big clue.
