Was reading one world under doom (well kinda) the fuck is this?

I was moreso skimming since I had already watched videos on it, but I STILL don't understand this power up Reed achieves. He just says "I've been studying magic, but applying it to science" gets his ass handed to him by doom and that's it.

Like I was excited, but then NOTHING happened with it, what kinda bullshit 😭

I don't think I've ever read a comic book as ridiculous as this

"the hand were actually in Frank's life the whole time" "Maria was scared of Frank and wanted a divorce" "Frank only really loved war and violence" God this is almost as stupid as immortal hulk. Frank being this "chosen one" of the beast ever since he was a child and him being this angsty guy even while married is just stupid.

The only nice things I can really say about this book is Frank using the hand to stop crime, personally killing captured scum, him being a family man at points, but other than that this book pisses me off

Just read punisher: welcome back Frank

I liked it, at least, for the most part. I think it was fine, the humor was ok. The villains were a little lackluster and the side characters were alright. Ma didn't do much aside from bark orders, the Russian was pretty cool, if only for a quick fight scene, the holy, elite and payback were really cool character wise, but then they died, so I'm disappointed.

I'm glad that the book showed Frank's thirst for blood, but acknowledged that he's not gonna leave innocent people to fend for themselves. He gets that prostitute chick out of the way, he helps Mr. Bumpo, Joan, Dave, gives them some cash, good stuff.

Really wished the villains would've been in more books, I think elite, payback and the holy would've been good villains that represented Frank if he was just evil, but I liked it overall
