I’m a long time actor wanting to try directing (our local theater has reached out and asked if anyone wants to try).
I have lots of ideas of making sure the actors feel supported, heard, accommodated, and fair. But I’m struggling to come up with shows that have limited cast (I don’t want a large ensemble) and simple enough tech/stage crew needs. As an actor, I just want to be on stage and perform so I don’t want to pick a show that I want to be in either.
Any ideas?
