This old pair of jeans needed some fixing, and then needed more. I will say that I have very much enjoyed learning how to use these little stabs to make such beautiful mending. Thank you to the people of the Edo period (1600-1800) who developed this technique and all the people over the centuries that have kept this skill and aesthetic alive.
