I got a job offer at a pharmaceutical company to work as a business developer tasked with conducting analytical assessment research on drugs for potential investment, development, and later manufacturing. I have a BSc in the pharmaceutical sciences.
Looking at potential NOC codes, I found 41402 that somewhat matches the duties described. But, it says employment requirements include a bachelors degree in economics, commerce, business administration, or public administration. It also does not list directly that it applies for private companies and does not name pharmaceutical companies specifically.
How strict is IRCC with NOC codes? Is the job risky to take on if I plan on applying for PR later? Should I accept a job role that better matches my educational background, experience, and have a clearer NOC classification?
