timing for nasal surgery and DJS

I have been told by an OMFS that I am a candidate for Lefort 1-3 and BSSO. I also recently found out from an ENT that I have nasal valve collapse and could have a relatively simple, outpatient surgery to fix. I have heard for folks who have DJS that the order of procedures matters for septoplasty but not sure if this is a consideration for a procedure to open up nasal passages. Thoughts?

What is McGill perspective on some lower back rotation and thoracic extension exercises?

I have a herniated disc, T11-T12, which has dogged me for years. Have done lots of traditional PT with some relief. Recently came across McGill's program and really intrigued. I see that he discourages low back extension exercises for most folks, most notably the McKenzie floppy push up. I do a lot of PT and stretches for glutes, hip flexors, hamstrings, quads where I maintain my spine angle, and I'm guessing those are OK. I'm wondering what the McGill perspective would be on things like thoracic extension on a foam roller, thoracic rotation by half kneeling and fanning one arm out from the wall while other arm hugs wall, and lower spine rotation through the iron cross exercise?

I have a herniated disc, T11 - T12. My doctor also feels that I have sacroiliitis. He recommends icing, and I do 3 sessions of 15 minutes daily. I do like how it feels to temporarily numb out the pain, but I've also read opinions that it's counter-productive. What are people's opinions on the efficacy of ice and/or heat for low back pain?

I have been doing self-release for years as recommended by a chiropractor who said I was safe rolling from low back to glutes as long as not directly on spine or hip bone. This had me thinking that a lot of my buildup was 2 nobby areas a few inches to the side of the spine. Met with a different chiropractor today who said I have actually been rolling over bony pelvic structure, the PSIS, and this is of course to be avoided. I have been rolling those areas a lot for the past few months. Looking online I see negative results of bruising, muscle strain, and nerve irritation. Although negative, my guess would be that those things would heal in time. I'm worried about greater damage such as bone fractures. Is this or anything else more serious possible, and if so, should I get an MRI to evaluate?

I have a herniated disc, T11-T12, and what my doctor thinks is Sacroiliitis. Result is a lot of lower back pain. I have foreward head posture throughout the day which is a result of mouth breathing I developed as a teenager due to allergies. I fall asleep on my back since that's most comfortable and sometimes am on my side when I wake up. Anyone have a recommendation for a good pillow based on my description?
