Shipping products to Europe is expensive compared to what we used to pay to ship to the US. It’s a lot farther and goes by boat instead of a truck crossing the southern border.
It’s great to hear all the talk about shifting focus for European sales but what does that really mean. Less paperwork, dedicated cheaper shipping routes?
I’m a small manufacturer who has seen a drop in my US business because of tariffs and duty paperwork cost. I can ship anywhere but at the end of day a European customer isn’t going to buy a product that shipping cost matched the price of the goods in the box.
It’s good to shifting focus but on the small scale , non billion in sales company I’m at not sure how all this talk helps me.
