Looking for tips to help my son who has never played in a league before. Hes done a winter camp, i send him to weekly batting practice at our local facility. And we play catch and hit in our yard &local field almost daily.(hes always asking to go out and play)
He can hit and catch ok but hes definitely new. He understands rules well (our friends joke and say hes the biggest rule follower they know) Hes trying out for LL10 while i dont think he has a chance im still letting him tryout because the extra practice isnt going to hurt. (And the coach said they are surprised he has never played and is welcome to try out) He will play in a house league this summer regardless.
Is there anything i can do so maybe he has a chance to make a rep team next season?
