This has happened once before and I adjusted the hood latch and it’s stopped until now. It went off at 2:30 AM and then again at 5 and now it won’t stop going off if left alone for 2 minutes. I had to unplug the battery to get it to stop.

What can I do to hardwire the hood ajar switch circuit so it reads as always closed? I tried unplugging the sensor but that didn’t help. I currently have the switch ziptied and wrapped in electrical tape but that didn’t stop it. I’m assuming the switch or connector is bad. How do I get it to stop until I can replace/fix the switch?
