Hi, my girlfriend and I have been in a relationship for some years and are coming to Madurai for Chithirai Thiruvizha. We are both from different religions, and I have never experienced any Thiruvizhas in my life, so we decided to come to Madurai on the evening of April 30th to explore some Thiruvizha places. We plan to stay that night and leave for our hometown the next day morning by 8 am after seeing God Alagar. We are unmarried. The question is, can we book a hotel room? If yes, in which area? We don't know where the Thiruvizha takes place. We are coming by train. Are there any cheap and hygienic hotel rooms, or homestay, under budget options?
