Hello!

I wanted to check if our itinerary makes sense overall before booking the tickets for Machu Picchu, especially regarding altitude acclimatization and our Machu Picchu plans.

Before arriving in Cusco, we will already have spent 3 days in Arequipa.

Here is the plan:

• Day 4: Cusco → Ollantaytambo
• Day 5: Ollantaytambo → Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu (Circuit 1B at 3 PM)
• Day 6: Aguas Calientes / Machu Picchu (Circuit 2B or 3 at 9 AM) → return to Ollantaytambo
• Day 7: Ollantaytambo → Moray → Maras Salt Mines → Pisac → Cusco
• Day 8 - 10: Cusco + day trips

Does this itinerary make sense for altitude acclimatization?

Is doing 2 Machu Picchu circuits over 2 days worth it, or is 2 circuits in 1 day is better ? or even 1 circuit and 1 day is enough?

Are we missing anything obvious in the Sacred Valley?
