I have a long chain link fence run with a neighbors wood fence behind it. It is impossible to weed between the two and I’d like to make it easier.

Can I take this long run and put tension bars between each post so that it is easy to remove an 8 ft section plus raise it a bit above the ground. Any reason I can’t do that? I only have tension bars in the corner posts.
