Best easy, versatile, small camera with adjustable aperture?
Basically I want an everyday camera I can take in my mini purse, or to the beach for sunset pics, and that other people can easily use
Specifically:
- Works in night, daylight, indoor, sunset. ie Adjustable aperture (like f/5.6 or f/2.8 to f/11+)
- auto focus or easy enough so that other people can take pics
- Small, light, can take a beating
- Bonus: has settings /potential for creative things, small or builtin flash
- I don’t care about price or photo quality otherwise
I have a pentax SLR which I love the flexibility but way too large/difficult for daily use. I want an easier lighter camera like that can be abused and live in my pocket
After researching this for a couple years now, I have tried: Minox 35 (LOVED the pics and aperture control, hated focus, shutter broke), Kodak m35 plastic (my go to-best “disposable” so far, but doesn’t do low light/have settings), Olympus XA2 (heavy, large, broke it), yashica MF 1 (too dark, broke, liked the light leaks), Ektar H35N (always over or underexposed, you can change aperture thru flash but it only goes to like f/9)
