Remember that 3 hour long software update about a month ago? That was a pre-diagnostic on your car battery. They already know for the most part which ones need to have cells replaced. When you get your letter or email asking you to come in for your initial recall inspection, look at the code that they have given you for the appointment. It will end with the letters EA or some version of those. If it ends in a W like EAW, then your car has already been flagged as needing some battery cell replacements. You should still take your car in for an inspection. please don’t ignore the recall appointment. Mine took a half day and does not need any further repair.
Now I have to convince EVG O to let me supercharge again!

Exploring my options for maybe getting out of the lease early or getting some compensation for losing a major feature of this vehicle. Mine is 2023. They took two years to fix my door handle so I have zero confidence that my battery is going to get fixed in my remaining lease.
