I watched a documentary called *Richard Cardinal: Cry from a Diary of a Métis Child* where it went into detail of a foster kid being moved around to different foster homes and shelters before committing suicide at 17. It made me think about the way supportive housing allocations are run in BC (or at least the BC Housing table in Vancouver) and the way people are being bounced around between different supportive housing sites.

Sometimes it feels like rather than trying to set someone up for success by trying to find a building that works for them, people are sometimes passed off to other buildings so they don't have to deal with them anymore. It's usually because they aren't good tenants (biohazardous room, abusive to others, fire risk, etc) but it seems like rather than trying to get down to the root cause of these behaviors they just want to get rid of them and make them someone else's problem. Idk am I reaching?
