2015 N20 96k miles
Just put in a duralast mass airflow sensor in the car and it started off with a shaky/high rev before eventually reducing back to normal after a couple minutes (though it did have a check engine light) . I disconnected battery for around ten minutes to see if that would help and it went away shortly but the engine light came back after a short drive. When I went on this drive it was fine along the way although I did notice the turbo got extremely louder (which I don’t mind but I know it seemed a little weird at first). Now everytime I hit the gas a bit I hear the turbo spool. Is this normal or should I be worried about another repair ? I disconnected the sensor just in case so I can order an actual oem bosche replacement but the turbo is still as loud and instant when I hit the pedal. Any other suggestions or ideas otherwise ?
