Purchased brand new in Feb 2023. At the time I lived in a coastal climate, so it was not super cold, and the windshield spontaneously cracked (parked overnight) the first night I had it. It cracked in a second spot (also seemed to be while parked) about 6 months later. I moved soon after and left both, replacing it after the cracks had spread across my windshield a bit. $800 for the sensor windshield.
Where I live now is snowy and the roads are rocked often. I travel on highways with said rock a lot for work. 4 more cracks within two weeks of the new windshield.
Replaced windshield again and it cracked AGAIN. Is anyone else having/had this issue? The windshields were installed by Toyota. Do I just need to try a different brand? I have driven over rocked roads hundreds of times in other cars and have never cracked a windshield.
