C&P Overseas - No providers in-country
I am a 50% vet in South Africa. My C&P was assigned to one of the big companies (VES) who have no providers in the area.
I just received a 60+ page packet of DBQ forms for me to provide to providers of my choice. It is for 9 different claims. Essentially the burden is now on me to find foreign doctors who are willing to fill out these forms that they and I have no clue about and I am only given 60 days to do this. Since I live in Africa it took 14 days for the mail to get to me and it will take the same or more to get mailed back as well.
Effectively, I have less than 30 days to find providers, wait for appointments, and then ask if they will take the time to fill out these 9 page documents totaling up to about 60 pages.
Pretty unrealistic. Rant over, now my question.
Do I just fine ANY provider to do this? There are dbq's for my feet, hearing, TBI, spinal damage, apnea, all over the place as far as specialties go.
In reality, lll be lucky to find a single provider to do this, let alone many specialists. This is Africa....it took me 6 months to get a neuro appointment.
