Recently I've noticed that my hatch light does not turn off after the normal 5-10min timer/shutoff.

Any reason this might be happening? Thought about just getting the light with the on/off switch and wiring it in.

My "door open light" button is normally set to off. Does this need to be ON to get the time out function?
